Handpicked botanicals, never synthetic
We use real botanicals—rose is rose, not phenethyl alcohol. Jasmine is jasmine, not hedione. Musk is botanical, never galaxolide or muscone. No synthetic accords, no lab illusions. What you smell comes directly from flowers, resins, woods, and roots—nothing imagined, nothing artificial.
Traditional deg bhapka distillation
Our oils are crafted using deg bhapka—slow steam distillation practiced for centuries. Alongside authentic maceration and infusion, this traditional method preserves soul, depth, and nuance. No shortcuts, no modern force-extraction—only patience, heat, copper, and time-honoured wisdom.
Hand-blended perfume oils
Each perfume oil is blended slowly by hand, not mass-produced or lab-generated. We let the oils rest, evolve, and harmonise naturally. This mindful blending creates warmth, softness, and emotional depth—something machines and formulas simply can't replicate.
Bottled only by us
From blending to bottling, everything is done in-house. No third-party filling lines, no outsourced shortcuts. Every bottle passes through our hands, ensuring integrity, freshness, and intention remain intact—from the first pour to the final seal.
Rooted in sustainable packaging
Our packaging is designed to return gently to the earth—coconut coir, compostable plastics, kraft cardboard, twines, paper tapes, ribbons, and honeycomb wraps replace foam and bubble plastic. Sustainability isn't a trend for us; it's where we come from: Something instinctive, responsible, and deeply personal.
Postcards, art, and human connection
Each bottle includes a postcard from the place it represents—featuring original artwork and an anonymous message from a distant friend. You can reply or share your own at postcardpourvous@gmail.com. Another artwork inside the box tells a story—watch closely for easter eggs.

Why perfume oil, not spray
Sprays require alcohol—diluting, altering, and distorting delicate notes. Something crafted with this much care felt too sacred for that. We chose pure perfume oils in roll-on bottles: no alcohol, no aerosol, no dilution, no adulteration—just scent, in its truest form, exactly as it was meant to be.

Our perfumes are deeper than 'top, heart, and base' notes—they're built as moods. Each one evokes a quieter time, when travel was emotional and unhurried, nostalgia was chronic because memories lasted longer, and human connection was slow, tactile, and deliberate. Hand crafted from time-honored botanicals and modern layering, these perfume oils are high strength (stronger than EDP) because there is no alcohol added to them to convert them into sprays.
No aldehydes to “lift” the aroma: Our perfumes depend on your pulse points, body temperature and natural body chemistry to evolve and project instead of depending on aldehydes.
Each fragrance is a window into the magic of a place, beautifully crafted to evoke emotion and connection, made with complex layers of several notes chosen to capture the vibe of a place into a bottle.
